Memory Module Identification

144-pin SODIMM

Full Description

Note: When upgrading the Inspiron 3700, 3800, 4000, 7000, 7500, Latitude CPxH, CPxJ, C500 or C600, make sure that it is a low density module. You can check by counting the chips on the module. The 256 MB low density module will have 16 chips and the high density module will have 8 chips. The 128 MB low density module will have 8 chips and the high density module will have 4 chips. These computers are picky and DO NOT like the high density modules. It is because of the way the motherboard addresses the ram slots.
